Mentone Subaru
The Ardent team designed this project in previous roles. The design draws the eye by having externaly displayed new cars on a second floor balcony. The access door for these vehicles is concealed in the façade to add to the theatre.
The design utilizes a raised showroom to aid in the visibility of the showroom display cars over the vehicles in the yard. The raised showroom also gave the ability to have undercroft parking which allowed for a full line dealership to fit on a relatively modest sized site.
The second floor cars are loaded in the workshop utilizing a 4 post hoist and then driven over the showroom onto the display balcony. The mesh gantry across the showroom also allows Subaru to display their symmetrical all wheel drive system.
