Lifeblood Marrickville
Ardent Architects were engaged to design and deliver a brand new blood donor center for Red Cross Lifeblood in Marrickville NSW. One of the major challenges was the existing building was comprised of 5 office tenancies that were required to be joined together into one large tenancy to house the project.
The design team worked closely with the client and the fit-out contractor to fast-track the project with construction commencing as soon as the wall locations were finalised. The design team then worked fast paced to complete construction documentation in the order in which trades were scheduled to commence on site. The facility is registered with the Therapeutic Goods Administration, which required a level of detailing comparable to a medical facility.
